Chase Anderson Panhellenic President

A note from the
Panhellenic Council President

My name is Chase Anderson, and I’m honored to serve as the Panhellenic President here at the University of Wyoming. I’m a junior studying Criminal Justice with a minor in History, and being a part of the Panhellenic community has truly been one of the most rewarding and impactful experiences of my college experience.

Greek life at UW is really something special. Our campus may be tucked away in a quiet corner of Wyoming, but our community is full of energy, sisterhood, and purpose. Whether it’s cheering each other on at campus events, hosting philanthropy fundraisers, or just sharing laughs at chapter dinners, Greek life gives you a place to grow, lead, and belong.

The Panhellenic Council is the governing body for the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities on campus. We work to support our chapters, promote unity, and create a space where women can thrive. We help organize primary recruitment each fall, facilitate educational programs, and encourage service and scholarship across our entire community.

Joining a sorority isn’t just about finding friends (although you definitely will!)—it’s about discovering a support system, pushing yourself to lead, and making a difference both on campus and in the world. If you’re even a little curious about going Greek, we’re here to help guide you every step of the way.

We can’t wait to meet you and show you all the amazing things Panhellenic life has to offer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out or follow us on social media to stay in the loop!

Our Chapters

The Wyoming Panhellenic Council consists of six chapters: four that participate in primary recruitment (Alpha Phi, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, and Kappa Kappa Gamma) and two professional special interest sororities whose membership follows an informal recruitment schedule.

Alpha Phi Coat of Arms
Alpha Phi

Alpha Phi is known for its loyal sisterhood of women courageously pursuing limitless excellence. Central to Alpha Phi membership are values of sisterhood, generosity, high expectations for character, and a drive for innovation, which together define what it means to be an Alpha Phi.

Chi Omega Crest
Chi Omega

Chi Omega is an intergenerational women’s organization forever committed to our founding purposes of friendship, personal integrity, service to others, academic excellence and intellectual pursuits, community and campus involvement, and personal and career development.

Delta Delta Delta Crest
Delta Delta Delta

The purpose of Delta Delta Delta shall be to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members, to develop a stronger and more womanly character, to broaden the moral and intellectual life, and to assist its members in every possible way.

Kappa Kappa Gamma Crest
Kappa Kappa Gamma

Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization of women, which seeks for every member throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles.

Phi Sigma Rho Coat of Arms
Phi Sigma Rho

Sigma Rho fosters a balance between the rigorous demands of academic pursuits in engineering and engineering technology and the sociality of Greek life, uniting members with a shared commitment to supporting each other through personal, academic, and professional growth.

Sigma Alpha Crest
Sigma Alpha

Sigma Alpha exists to promote its members in all facets of agriculture and to strengthen the bonds of friendship among them. It is the purpose of its members to strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership and service and to promote excellence in women pursuing careers in agriculture.

From our Members
I am majoring in elementary education. A reason why I joined Greek Life is because I wanted to find a home away from home with girls who love and support each other. With these girls I have so many favorite memories but my favorite has to be initiation because it was just a day full of love and happiness. The sisterhood that I have felt since day one on bid day has continued throughout everything that I do. I would encourage anyone to join Greek life because it was the best decision that I have made.

—SOPHIA

San Mateo, California

I’m majoring in elementary education, and I’ll be a senior next year! I joined Greek Life because I came to UW as a transfer student from playing college softball in North Dakota and I felt like everyone already had their own groups and I wanted to make more friends that weren’t from Cheyenne! I love my sisterhood because we are all super close and are all able to be ourselves around one another! We are all able to be our authentic true selves.

—TAYLOR

Cheyenne, Wyoming

I’m a marketing major. I’ve always known I have wanted to be in a sorority since I was little, and the chapters are smaller at UW so it's easier to know all of your sisters and make a more personal connection with them. My favorite memory so far is making bouquets for a sisterhood event, it was so cute and I love flowers. I love our sisterhood because I have been able to have leadership opportunities in the recruitment department.
